Hi, I'm Kristal, the person behind Shore Design Dorset.

I'm a designer and copywriter working directly with small businesses, schools and charities across Dorset, rather than a queue of account managers passing your brief along.

My design and marketing career started at Yarrells Prep School in Poole, where I spent nine years working my way from part-time admin assistant up to Marketing Assistant, running the website and socials, producing the school's 80-page yearbook, prospectuses and print marketing, and building their first database and mail merge systems from scratch. I later came back as Admissions Registrar before going full-time on Shore Design Dorset in 2026.

Alongside that, I've been sole administrator for RAC Saddle Club, Bovington since 2021, a charity with 70 horses, 40 owners and 40 members.

At the Saddle Club, "admin" really means everything, the website, the social media, the photography, and scoring competitions from friendly shows up to British Eventing.

I've also volunteered with the Dorset youth charity #Willdoes since 2019, handling their marketing, website and social media, and was genuinely touched to be given their Founders' Award in 2023.

Away from the desk, I'm a keen horse rider, I ride my daughter's horse, Puzzle, at the yard where I used to work and I live in Wimborne, Dorset, with my husband, two children and two very unhelpful dogs and two cats. In the evenings I crochet: hats, blankets, baby bonnets and booties.

Whatever you need, I'll work closely with you to get it right — and if it's social media, I'm just as happy to run it for you as I am to set it up and train you to run it yourself.
