What I collect
If you get in touch by email, phone, or a contact form on this site, I may collect:
Your name and contact details (email address, phone number)
Any details you choose to share about your business or project
Basic technical information such as browser type and general location, if the site uses analytics
I don't collect payment details through this website — invoicing is handled separately, directly with clients.
How I use it
To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project
To send you a quote, invoice, or agreed project updates
To keep basic records for tax and accounting purposes, as required by law
I don't sell, rent, or share your details with third parties for marketing purposes
Cookies and third-party services
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may involve a request to Google's servers. If analytics (such as Google Analytics) or a booking system (such as Acuity Scheduling) are added to the site, those services have their own privacy policies governing any data they collect — I'll link to them here if and when they're in use.
How long I keep information
Enquiry and client details are kept only as long as needed to complete a project and meet UK tax record-keeping requirements (currently up to 6 years for financial records), after which they're deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what information I hold about you, request a copy of it, ask me to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent to being contacted. To do any of these, email shoredesigndorset@gmail.com.
If you're unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes to the site or how it's used. The date at the top will always show when it was last revised.
